Will the Tigers put on orange masks against the Rebs?

Auburn football is one of the most classically dressed teams in all of college football. The team rarely deviates from normal – all white for away games, blue jerseys in Jordan-Hare. However, ringing in the days of first-year head coach Bryan Harsin made a lot of changes to the Plains, including a few outfit adjustments.

This season, the Tigers have shaken up the uniform in a way only Auburn fans would notice, but in an exciting way nonetheless. For the Penn State white game, when Auburn football traveled to Happy Valley, the Tigers revealed white masks to match the all-white uniforms.

The small luck was enough to excite Auburn fans for a white veil and to open up the possibility of having different face mask colors throughout the season. The Tigers were biding their time, but it looks like a new uniform rumor has emerged: Auburn football could unveil orange masks for the Halloween game against Ole Miss this weekend:

Although nothing was officially confirmed, fans went mad once the photo of the helmet leaked online. Now the hype is growing for what could be a first showdown between the Rebs ‘powder blue helmets and the Tigers’ orange masks.

# 18 Auburn and # 10 Ole Miss will meet for a scary prime-time game on the Plains this Saturday.
