KN95 masks have gained a cult following among people who want a high level of protection against COVID-19. And, now that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated their guidelines to say that everyone, regardless of their vaccination status, should wear a mask indoors where the spread of COVID-19 is large or high. , many people are looking for a quality mask again. Thank goodness KN95 masks are now available for children.
The global textile company Vida launched the Vida Kids KN95 mask for the youngest last spring. These masks are FDA registered and offer 95% filtration efficiency, on par with quality KN95 and N95 masks. Right now, you can get a 10-pack of these masks for $ 35 from Vida’s website in a range of colors.
Vida doesn’t mess with these masks: you can place orders of 10 to 1,000 at a time – not a typo – according to your needs. And the more you buy, the more you save.
But let’s talk about these masks … They feature a filtration system with five layers of non-woven breathable fibers, two of which are premium melt blown layers. Soft ear bands and a metal nosepiece, just like you’ll find on an adult-sized KN95, help ensure a snug fit.
Although they are technically designed for single use, Vida says they can be reused two to three times if they are “worn sparingly” and not damaged.
That’s a cool feature: Each order includes a prepaid return label so you can return your used masks as part of the company’s sustainability program.
The masks are designed for ages 3 and up and are available in 10 colors (including basics like black and white), pretty shades (lilac, blush) and vibrant shades (aquamarine, cherry). You can even choose a multi-colored pack from one of four color palettes: Cherry Pie, Popsicle, Blueberry Punch, and Sorbet.
“The fit was perfect. They are a good fit and of excellent quality. Nice and thick but not too thick,” wrote a satisfied customer in the comments. “There is no argument when I ask for one to be worn, whether it’s going for a walk in a store, playing sports or just playing with friends,” said another fan.
Keep in mind that while the masks are currently in stock, it is unlikely that they will remain. KN95s are very popular right now, and it’s not common to find them from a trusted brand in children’s sizes. Refuel while you can.
