If physical therapy does nothing to Sofia vergara, retail therapy will be. The Colombian actress recently went shopping for rugs at a well-known store for modern rugs in Los Angeles. The Modern family the star arrived dressed in casual and comfortable clothes.

Vergara wore a black long-sleeved top, an animal-print face mask, a black Celine bag and a pair of distressed jeans, possibly from her Sofia Jeans fashion collection available at Walmart.

Despite her injury, the actress has excellent news. Netflix recently announced that Sofia will star in a limited series about a notorious drug dealer Griselda Blanco. As reported by Variety, the next show, titled Griselda, will relate the life of the Colombian businesswoman. Widely known as the Black Widow and the Godmother of Cocaine, Blanco is the mastermind behind one of the most profitable cartels.

“Griselda Blanco was a larger than life character whose ruthless but ingenious tactics allowed her to lead a billion dollar empire years before many of the more notorious male pillars we know so much about,” said Vergara. “We are delighted to have found the perfect partners in Eric, Andrés and Netflix to help us bring this lifelong story to the screen.”

Narcos executive producer Eric Newman is working on the upcoming project. “Griselda Blanco has long been a passionate project for Sofia and we are grateful that she and her LatinWe partners have chosen us to help her tell this story,” said Newman. “Sofia is a brilliant talent and her passion combined with a fantastic story of Doug and Ingrid, and the incredible Andrés Baiz at the helm of the director, means that we have a very exciting series to share with audiences.”
